Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale govern all orders placed with SNPATISSERIES through this website or by direct enquiry. By placing an order, the client acknowledges having read and accepted these Terms of Sale.

2. Purpose

These Terms of Sale define the conditions under which SNPATISSERIES offers and supplies its products and services to private clients.

They apply to all orders placed through the website, by email, by telephone, or through any direct exchange with the client.

 

3. Products and Services

SNPATISSERIES offers bespoke cakes, desserts and pastry creations, including products made to order for weddings, events and private celebrations.

As each creation is handmade and often customised, photographs, descriptions and visual references provided on this website or during discussions are for illustrative purposes only. While every effort is made to ensure that the final product reflects the agreed design as closely as possible, slight variations may occur.

The client is responsible for reviewing all information provided before confirming an order.

 

4. Orders

Orders are subject to availability and are considered confirmed only once:

  • the details of the order have been agreed;

  • the client has accepted the quotation, where applicable;

  • the required deposit has been received by SNPATISSERIES.

SNPATISSERIES reserves the right to refuse or decline an order in the event of unavailability, insufficient notice, impracticability, or any other legitimate reason.

 

5. Prices

All prices are expressed in Euros (€).

Prices communicated to the client are those applicable at the time of the quotation or order confirmation. Unless otherwise stated, prices may not include delivery, setup, on-site assembly, service, venue-related costs, or other additional services, which will be specified separately where applicable.

Because many products are bespoke, a final price may depend on the design, size, number of servings, delivery arrangements, setup requirements, on-site service, and any specific client requirements.

 

6. Payment Terms

A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total order amount is required to confirm the order and secure the event date.

The remaining balance must be paid in full by bank transfer no later than one month before the event date.

No order shall be considered confirmed until the deposit has been received.

If the balance is not received by the due date, SNPATISSERIES reserves the right to suspend or cancel the order, subject to prior communication with the client.

 

7. Changes to an Order

Any request to modify an order must be made as early as possible and remains subject to feasibility and acceptance by SNPATISSERIES.

Changes may result in an adjustment to the quoted price, particularly where they affect the design, size, servings, ingredients, decoration, delivery arrangements, setup, service, or production schedule.

Once production has begun, certain changes may no longer be possible.

 

8. Final Details

The client must provide and confirm all final order details within the timeframe specified in the quotation or otherwise confirmed in writing by SNPATISSERIES.

This includes, where applicable:

  • the final guest count or serving size;

  • the final design choices and any requested changes;

  • the confirmed event schedule, venue access details, delivery arrangements, setup timing and any on-site requirements.

After the relevant deadline, the confirmed guest count, design and arrangements shall be treated as final for production and pricing purposes.

Any request for changes after that stage will remain subject to feasibility and may result in additional charges.

 

9. Cancellation

In the event of cancellation by the client, the deposit paid shall remain non-refundable.

If cancellation occurs after further work, preparation, purchases, or specific scheduling commitments have already been undertaken for the order, SNPATISSERIES reserves the right to invoice the client for the corresponding costs and work already carried out.

Any postponement or rescheduling request will be considered on a case-by-case basis and remains subject to availability.

 

10. Delivery, Setup and On-Site Service

Orders may be collected, delivered, installed, assembled on site, or served, depending on the nature of the order and the arrangements agreed with the client.

Where delivery, setup, on-site assembly or service is provided, the client must ensure that all practical information necessary for performance is communicated accurately in advance, including venue details, timings, access conditions, and any site-specific constraints.

The client is responsible for ensuring that the venue provides suitable conditions for delivery, setup, assembly and, where applicable, service, including reasonable access, an appropriate setup area, and conditions compatible with the safe handling and presentation of the products.

SNPATISSERIES shall not be held responsible for delays, inability to complete delivery, setup, assembly or service, or any resulting deterioration of the products where such circumstances are caused by incorrect information, delayed access, restricted access, unsuitable site conditions, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Any additional time, waiting time, handling difficulty, or extra travel or labour required as a result of such circumstances may be invoiced to the client where appropriate.

Upon completion of delivery, setup, installation, on-site assembly or service, responsibility for the products passes to the client, subject to applicable law. SNPATISSERIES cannot be held responsible for damage resulting from improper handling, storage, movement, environmental conditions, or intervention by third parties after handover or completion of setup.

 

11. Allergens and Client Responsibility

Products may contain, or come into contact with, common allergens including but not limited to gluten, milk, eggs, nuts, peanuts and soy.

It is the client’s responsibility to inform SNPATISSERIES of any allergies, intolerances or dietary restrictions before placing an order.

While every reasonable effort may be made to take specific requests into account, SNPATISSERIES cannot guarantee the complete absence of traces of allergens unless expressly agreed in writing.

 

12. Liability

SNPATISSERIES shall not be held liable for any indirect loss, disappointment, or consequences resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

In all cases, liability shall be limited to the value of the order concerned, except where a greater limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms of Sale excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful.

 

13. Intellectual Property

All texts, designs, visual elements, logos and original content created by SNPATISSERIES and displayed on this website remain protected by intellectual property law.

Unless otherwise stated, no content from this website may be reproduced, distributed, modified, translated, commercially exploited or reused, in whole or in part, without prior written permission from SNPATISSERIES.

Photographs provided by clients, wedding professionals or photographers remain the property of their respective rights holders where applicable.

 

14. Personal Data

Personal data collected in connection with enquiries and orders is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and with the website’s Privacy Policy.

Such data is used only for purposes including responding to enquiries, preparing quotations, managing orders, client communication and compliance with legal obligations.

 

15. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Sale are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, the parties shall first seek an amicable solution. Failing this, the dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent French courts, unless mandatory legal rules provide otherwise.

 

16. Updates

SNPATISSERIES reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Sale at any time. The version applicable to an order is the one in force at the time the order is confirmed.
